Ashish Das is born in a music family in Kolkata, India. Mother is a prolific singer of classical & light music and Ashish learned music basically from mother. His grandfather was a sitarist. He also learned music from his brother Ahin Kumar, a disciple of Sarod Maestro Late Ustad Bahadur Khan belonging to the Baba Allaudin Khan Gharana & is presently living in Jersey, USA.
He is a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and has also done MBA from Columbia University, NY.
It is time now to return to music lovers & to the country all the values, sanskar and the great sense of belonging. For Ashish music has always been his first love and he always kept at it even while working in the engineering industry. He has recently released a track in English in US. Hari Bol is the next upcoming music album after Bewafaa & is being made with a global appeal keeping the Indian soul to it.
Along with music, the objective is to bring into focus substantive subjects like beauty, spirituality & love using various genre of music and to also deliver content which offers joy, peace & value to our lives. This is going to be an emotional & creative journey.
